Eva Marie Ginsburg grew up in northern California and now lives in Illinois. She holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Houston. Her work has appeared in a number of literary magazines, including Eclectica, Artful Dodge, Willow Springs, Wisconsin Review, and New World Writing Quarterly. Her story “The Kettle” is included in the anthology Flash Fiction Forward, published by Norton.
Eva enjoys working in longhand, and her journals have filled over 130 notebooks. After years of teaching at the college level, she now works at a small middle school, teaching U.S. history, English, and knitting. She is married and has three children in high school and college.
